Vintage Mikuni Carburetor Identificationprivacy - Just got a 1972 cl350 and have a set of 28mm mikuni carbs to use on it. Does anyone have any jetting info on this set up? Looking for jet sizes mostly. If you look at motorcycles, minus the aftermarket performance carbs, the mechanical slide type carbs basically disapeared in the 1980s and were replaced with cv. For nearly 60 years, some variation of this carb has been mounted. We use them because they are traditional on vintage racecars and some organisations do not allow a more modern carb. Other vintage organisations allow any carb, but require the original. Two mikuni round slide carbs are simple to balance and synchronize perfectly with no carb sticks or other vacuum gauges. โ€ข insert the smooth end of a drill bit from the intake.
